Xavier is ONE!

It's hard to believe that you're already one Xavier ! It seems as though it was only yesterday that you arrived. We were so excited yet had no idea what we were in for. We had no idea that in an instant we would love you more than we could imagine. You are such a blessing in our lives. Although some things are fresh in my mind, I cannot believe that you were ever less than 8 pounds. You have become such a big boy!What a handsome, loving, crazy little boy you have become. You have learned so much in only one year. You are walking (running), yelling, teasing, loving to be outside, and learning to get your way (especially with mommy). You love people but want to make sure that mommy and daddy are around. We are so proud of you and love you so much!!

When Xavier woke up on his birthday, he got to open his first present. He wasn't too sure about it. Mommy sang happy birthday to Xavier more than a few times, even before she went to work.
Daddy stayed home and played with Xavier all day...what fun!! Then Grandma and Grandpa came over to celebrate at Applebees. Xavier loved the singing and even clapped when the happy birthday song was over. Then came the best part...the sundae. Of course Xavier finished the whole thing. YUMMY!

After we got home, it was time for more presents. He finally got the hang of the unwrapping thing.
